Jeff Allam (born 19 December 1954 in Epsom, England) is a British former racing driver who made his name in touring car racing. He now works as Head of Business for Allam Motor Services in Epsom which are a Skoda and Vauxhall servicing dealership.

Career

For much of his early career, Allam raced in the BTCC - most notably with TWR between 1981 and 1986. Allam was a regular winner for the Rover team during this period and won the Class A title in 1982.

Allam moved into European and Australian racing in the late eighties - making his first WTCM appearance at the Nurburgring round in 1988 with Wolf Racing in a Ford Sierra RS500. Allam rekindled his relationship with TWR in 1989, joining Win Percy at the works Holden Dealer Team. The season was a disaster as Allam only managed to make the grid on one occasion. Holden replaced Allam with Mark Skaife at the end of the year.

Allam returned to the BTCC in 1990 with Vic Lee Motorsport which saw him finish sixth overall in a BMW M3.

Allam was then signed by Vauxhall in 1991 alongside John Cleland whilst also acting as chief development driver for the marque's WTCM effort with German team Irmscher.
