In [[2019 Formula 2 World Championship season|2019]] the team made their debut at Formula 2 level with [[Sophia Floersch]] and [[Jack Aitken]]. Floersch scored two wins on her way to fifth in the standings while Aitken scored a single win for fourteenth.
 
Floersch remained for a second season in [[2020 Formula 2 World Championship season|2020]] and was joined by Italian former Indy Lights driver [[Antonio Giovinazzi]] in the second seat. Giovinazzi scored a pair of wins in the first round of the season and finished the year in second overall. Aspire also won their first title with the team winning the 2020 Teams Championship.

Some Red Bull and Ferrari development drivers have also raced with the team.

Aspire Formula are a Qatari racing team backed by the Aspire Academy in Doha, Qatar.

They are currently racing in the Formula 2 World Championship, Asian Formula 3 and Asian Formula 4.
