Odhrán Mac Aodha
Odhrán Mac Aodha (born 4th of December, 2002) is a Irish racing driver, currently driving for Raikkonen-Robertson Racing in Anglo-Irish Formula Four. For his second season, Aodha moved to Carlin.
Early Life
Born in a rural part of Ireland and to a family of farmers, Mac Aodha first got his taste of racing after a short bicycle race with one of his school friends. After liking this experience, he decided to dwell more, eventually buying a motorcycle and racing it around local races. After this, he attended the 2016 Leinster Trophy, and got conviced to switch over to open-wheelers; winning several local FFord events in 2017 in the proccess.
Anglo-Irish F4 (2018-)
Mac Aodha, after gathering some sponsors, decided to compete in the newly formed Anglo-Irish Formula 4, convicing Raikkonen-Robertson Racing. After some mediocre perfomances, with only a few points, his money started to run out, and he was sacked from RRR. Fearing his career would be over, Mac Aodha went to great lengths to bring in some new sponsors, convicing them that he would turn around in 2019. They accepted, and after a few negotiations, he managed to convice Carlin to run him in 2019.
