Emma Kickert (born 17th February 1996) is a Dutch racing driver who most recently raced for Avanti Grand Prix in AutoReject 3.5. She is the daughter of former racing driver and current McEwan Automotive Junior Driver Manager Pieter Kickert. Her career in open-wheel cars started in mid-2016, where she replaced Albanian Renato Bulku at ZimSport. She stayed with Zimsport and later Garry Rogers Motorsport, before choosing to make the big international move to join Avanti Grand Prix. She finished pointless for the backmarker team despite managing to handily outperform teammate Rafael Martins, and she naturally looked elsewhere for a 2020 drive.

Junior Career

Emma Kickert's transition into cars came slightly late, first achieving notoriety when appearing as a mid-season replacement in the 2016 season of what is now known as AutoReject 2.0. She performed creditably by earning four points finishes, and was immediately promoted into AutoReject 3.5 for the 2017 season. Here she showed real development with a best overall result of sixth place at Oulton Park, followed by a best heat result of second place at Road Atlanta. This was all the more impressive given that she was just a year into her career in cars at the time.

For the 2018 season, she made the switch to Formula 2, showing real promise for Garry Rogers Motorsport and comprehensively outperforming her teammate. The following year she was tempted back onto the AutoReject ladder, only to find that Avanti Grand Prix offered comfortably the worst package in the field; possibly in the series' history. She finished pointless, despite outperforming the very competent Rafael Martins in the sister car.

Simpson Motorsports

After her 2018 and 2019 seasons, Simpson Motorsports identified Kickert as a potential diamond in the rough and appointed her a Test and Development driver for the 2020 season. They had signed her up to race in the 2020 AutoReject 3.5 season, only for the collapse of the AutoReject ladder to mean that that opportunity disappeared. Simpson shifted his team's focus to Formula 5000 in his native Australia, and Harvey Norman sponsorship was enough to secure the seat for Kickert. Elsewhere, she also managed to secure a race seat in Super Formula, further expanding her international experience.

When the AutoReject World Series returned in 2023, Kickert was promoted to a Simpson race seat alongside fellow former sim driver Edvard Holm.
