Edward Restov Junior (born after 12 July 1980) is a British racing driver and team owner. Son of the Anglo-Russian racing driver and team owner Edward Restov, he has competed in the Formula 3 Rejects World Race Series in 2015, driving for his father's team in the Spa SuperPrix.

Formula 1

Despite an unimpressive junior record, Restov Junior was able to buy his way into the struggling Pacific team at the start of 1995. Many were cynical of his chances, and a shocking debut didn't do much to prove the doubters wrong. However, at the very next race in Argentina, Restov showed some superb wet weather skills to qualify 15th and finish 11th, after a race long duel with Michael Schumacher. Next up was Imola, where Restov was all of a sudden the name on everyone's lips after his performance in Argentina. He managed to qualify a staggering 8th, 6 seconds ahead of teammate Montermini, and was fighting with Johnny Herbert and Damon Hill for points when he spun off-line and was caught by backmarker Roberto Moreno at over 140 mph. The impact broke both of Restov's legs, instantly pulling his F1 career to a premature end.

2015: F3RWRS

When it was announced that Restov Racing would enter the Spa SuperPrix, the racing community rejoiced, since one of the established names of international motorsport was joining the RWRS system. The name of the driver left the paddock dubious though, as Restov Junior was older than the regulations allowed, and was still suffering from his horror smash some 20 years earlier.

The team fielded a sponsorless red livery, and Edward only qualified 50th out of 62 drivers in the Dallara-Fiat. Edward's race was uneventful as well, fighting with Richard Hershall before retiring on the tenth lap with a mechanical failure. Hershall would go on to finish 32nd.

2016: Team ownership

For the rest of the season, Restov turned to driver managing, taking Conor Dunne and Luis Pereira under his wing, while also trying to set up his own team for 2016, his father deciding to let Edward Junior take matters into his own hands.

As it turned out, his two original drivers were absent from the team, Restov instead preferring Caribbean karting champion Waisale Serevi and aristocratic rally driver Alexander Obolensky.
