AutoReject 3000 Series, shortened as AR3000, is a motor racing series which acts as the main feeder category of ARWS. It was created in 2022 after a merger of the AutoReject 3.5 and AutoReject 2.0 championships.
History
After the 2020 editions of AutoReject 3.5 and AutoReject 2.0 were cancelled due to the parent series, the AutoReject World Series, having itself been cancelled in March after just two of the scheduled eighteen rounds were actually completed, the future of the championship was at serious jeopardy. In 2021, plans to rebrand to series were announced as a new ownership group (formed by a consortium of former ARWS team owners) took control, with ARWS becoming AutoGP and AR3.5 becoming Auto2, with no concrete announcements made for AR2.0 (though it was rumoured to become Auto3 following this scheme). However, both AutoGP and Auto2 were then cancelled as well, with a lack of preparation and proper organisation from the new owners, leading to a dispute between some of the consortium members and thus leaving the teams and drivers to find refuge in other racing series.
In 2022, it was announced that the AutoReject World Series would be reformed for the 2023 season, and AutoReject 3.5 and AutoReject 2.0 would be merged together to form the new AutoReject 3000 Series, and would also be commencing in 2023. The decision was made to streamline the feeder series in the AutoReject ladder from two series to just one, as AutoReject's financial issues led them to focus on just one feeder category. It was also announced that Ligier, Gibson, and Continental would be the respective official chassis, engine and tyre suppliers.
