Alfonso Antonio Vicente Eduardo Angel Blas Francisco de Borja Cabeza de Vaca y Leighton, Marquis of Portago, or Alfonso de Portago (born 11 October 1928 in London, UK, died 14 March 1958 in Modena, Italy) was a Spanish racing driver and Olympic bobsledder. Best known for his playboy antics and disregard for personal safety, de Portago was renowned for his pace in sportscars. In Formula 1, his inability to string clean laps together hampered his success, along with his lack of drives for competitive teams. He was killed in March 1958 while testing a new Ferrari Grand Prix car at Modena Autodrome. He was 29 years old.
