28-29 March 2017 Hockenheim Test

The 28-29 March 2017 Hockenheim test was a private F1RWRS test organised by Melrose Racing Team. The team took the opportunity to test an updated downforce package before the British Grand Prix. The test was also the first time MRT team owner Daniel Melrose had driven an MRT-run F1RWRS car since the 2012 F1RWRS United States Grand Prix.
The test was originally scheduled to take place at MRT's home test track at the Nurburgring, but resurfacing work at the track forced the test to be relocated to the Hockenheimring instead.
