The 2020 FIA Prototype Challenge season was the third season of the FIA Prototype Challenge. It featured a new set of regulations officially called Le Mans Challenge prototype, which enforced the use of 4.2l NA engines with eight or twelve cylinders as well as a front mid-engine layout, unlike the rear mid-engine layout used by the previously-used LMP1 prototypes. Cooper Tires became the exclusive tyre supplier of the series after the previous two seasons allowed free choice of tyre supplier.
