Robert Kagan (born 26th March 1955 in Chelmsford, Essex) is a British former racing driver known for his appearances in Formula One.

1977: British F1 Team and Tyrrell

Kagan's first entry in the 1977 season was at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, for the British F1 Team. Despite failing to pre-qualify for the race, Kagan's outstanding drive later in the weekend won him the non-championship Tony Brise Memorial Trophy after starting in 2nd place, behind polesitter John Watson in the Shadow.

This result helped Kagan to sign a contract with Tyrrell team from the next race in Zandvoort, after Tyrrell fired Mexican driver Héctor Rebaque.
