Michel Leclère (born 18th March 1946 in Mantes-la-Jolie, Yvelines, France) is a French former grand prix driver known for his time racing in Formula One.

He began his car racing career in French Formula 3, winning the title in 1972. He then stepped up into Formula Two, where he would spend a few years before stepping up into F1.

1976: Shadow

By 1976, Leclère was driving for the Shadow team alongside Welshman Tom Pryce, sharing the second car in a part season with Italian driver Arturo Merzario. Merzario's best result in the Shadow was a eighth place in the Spanish Grand Prix.

Deeming the 1976 season as a failure, Leclère returned to Formula Two the following year before retiring from full time racing in 1979. In later life he became a demonstration driver for the Renault historic team, driving their classic racing cars at various events around the world.
