Bertram Schäfer (born 18th March, 1946 in Bitburg, Germany) is a German former racing driver known for his appearances in Formula One.
After winning the 1976 German F3 championship, Schäfer joined Team Penske midway through the 1977 F1 season alongside French veteran Henri Pescarolo. Schäfer would take Penske's first finish of the season at the Soviet Grand Prix with a 14th place finish.
Following his retirement from racing, Schäfer set up his own racing team that raced successfully in German single seater championships until the early 2000s.
