Alessandro Lucarelli

Alessandro Lucarelli is an Italian professional racing driver, who currently drives for Scuderia Alitalia in the Formula 3 Rejects World Race Series.

History

Alessandro Lucarelli is a veteran of Formula Three. He graduated to the Italian F3 Championship from Karting in 2007, and competed for various teams there until 2013 - finally winning the title in 2012 for BVM-Target Racing.

For 2014, he has stepped up to the international F3RWRS championship with Scuderia Alitalia. After good performances in his debut weekend, he was promoted to F2RWRS with the newly formed Scuderia Trueba Alitalia Giovanile in the same season. However, due to complications regarding their takeover of Trueba Junior Team, he was forced to step aside before he could make his series debut, and remains in F3RWRS.

He is fan of A.S. Livorno Calcio, his hometown football team. His brother, Cristiano Lucarelli, is a professional footballer with S.S.C. Napoli.
