Astro Racing Group
The Astro Racing Group are the holding company that runs Fusion Motorsports, Nebula Grand Prix and Pulsar Racing Team. Each team represents a different arm of the company.
Formation
Initially, Fusion Motorsports was formed in late 2014 by Jake Legge and raced in the 2015 seasons of F3RWRS and RoLFS. Having become good friends with Frenchman Jacques Couteau, Legge decided to hand over his entries in the respective series to concentrate on making Fusion a team that would enter the higher categories in RWRS-sanctioned motorsports.
When the Siemens Ausdauer Reject Series was opened up, neither Fusion or Nebula had the space to accommodate an endurance-series car. Couteau and Legge therefore decided to open up Pulsar Racing Team with the explicit purpose of becoming their endurance racing and sportscar team. All three teams were assimilated into the newly formed Astro Racing Group, in deference to the team names being related to various astrophysical phenomena.
Astro Racing Stars
The Astro Racing Stars is Astro's driver management scheme. Initially the "Fusion Management Group", the company followed its parent company into the Astro circle. The scheme aims to promote Europe's greatest young talents, and although the initial signings picked up unsigned drivers in lower formulae, Jerry de Boer was the first driver to be picked up from a RWRS-sanctioned competition, having been the runner-up in the 2015 F1RDS season.
