The 2021 Formula One season is set to be the 72nd Formula One season, starting on March 7 and ending on October 31, the championship is set to be contested over 18 Grands Prix, the first time since 2013 that less than 19 races were on the calendar. It will also be the first time that the season is set to end in October since 2006. This will be the first season to be fully operated by the new FIA-run Formula Committee, having taken control of the series from Formula One Management midway through 2020. This resulted in a number of rule changes, such as the return to a two-day qualifying as seen from 1950 to 2002. [*]
Teams and Drivers
All teams used Continental tyres.
