The 1992 Life SuperPrix of Australia was the 19th and final round of the 1992 Life Grand Prix Series season. It was held at Eastern Creek Raceway on November 15, 1992.
James Davies won from pole position to snatch the title from last year's champion Dave Wilson, with the helps of extra points for pole and fastest lap and the stopping of the race before 75% of the full distance due to the monsoon conditions, thus half points were awarded. This split the top two by half a point. This also proved to be a surprise as Davies didn't appear in the championship until round 13 at the English Grand Prix. He had been on pole in all of his races so far and took the fastest lap in four of them.
Wilson came into this race leading Davies by four points. Davies would have won the title anyway had the full points been awarded because he'd score 51 points and Wilson would be behind by three points.
Despite the wet weather, this race had the most finishers out of any other this season, with 15 drivers classified.
