The 2022 Super Formula season will be the 36th season of Super Formula. After its title sponsorship deal with Yaname Electronics expired, the JAF did not pursue a new sponsor the time being.

Ukyo Sasahara and Team KCMG defended their respective championships from 2021.

All teams used Dallara SF19 chassis and Yokohama tyres.
