Acid Trip Formula 1 (powered by Random.org) is the result of applying RNG to every aspect of a Formula One season with horrible consequences. The fourteen World Championship races were joined by three non-Championship races, including the BRDC International Trophy, won by Super Aguri's Gijs van Lennep, which was the first event of the season. In the second first race of the season, the Indianapolis 500, Shadow's David Hobbs suffered a season-ending injury in a chaotic race of accidents and attrition; Brian McGuire also sustained injuries that ruled him out for part of the season.

Drivers' Championship
Only a driver's best six finishes from the first seven races, and six best finishes from the last seven races, count for the Championship.
