José María "Pechito" López (born 26th April, 1983 in Río Tercero, Argentina) is a Argentine racing driver best known for his appearances in Formula One.
Formula One
López's first entry into F1 came about via Renault, who named him as their reserve/test driver in 2003.
However, opportunities with the team were not forthcoming, and he made the decision to move to a race seat with Jaguar in 2004 alongside David Coulthard - becoming the first Argentine to race in F1 since Norberto Fontana in 1998.
