Sho Tsuboi Proves Unstoppable in Argentina, Achieves Grand Chelem

Qualifying:

Report:

Felipe Drugovich's double overtake was just one of the many exciting moves we saw in this Argentine Grand Prix.
It took five races, but the Formula One season of 2024 has a new winner – yet that winner proved as dominant as Lando Norris did in the previous races. After his only competition spun off, Sho Tsuboi would go on to join the extremely rare club of Grands Chelem drivers.

The aforementioned competition – being Lando Norris – running out of talent also opened up a great fight for P2. While Kevin Magnussen removed himself from that battle and Felipe Drugovich suffered an unfortunate retirement, their teammates fought hard.

In the end, the battle went in favour of Franco Colapinto. Scoring a podium position at your home race is always a special moment, especially when it is your first podium. He rightfully enjoyed the adoration of the crowd.

Toyota also enjoyed a good race, scoring a double-points finish despite Charles Leclerc getting involved in a collision and earning a grid penalty. Oscar Piastri and Red Bull did not score points, but got their best results of this young season.

Race:

Fastest Lap:

Sho Tsuboi – 1:16.318

Infinite Improbability Drive Of The Race:

Oscar Piastri – while not being rewarded with points, Piastri’s performance today was a statement.

Reject Of The Race:

Caterham-Judd – both of their drivers were extremely poor, they should know better.
