Street Racing League

Street Racing League was a formula racing series that began in 2012, started and managed by oil king Walther Williams. As the name suggests, the races were held in street circuits. However, the series lasted for only three rounds before most of Williams' oilfields suddenly ran dry (and a discovery of illegal loans related to the sudden drying of his oil-fields), causing him to withdraw his sponsorship for the series, effectively ending the championship there. Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Euromotor-Honda were the championship leaders at the time of the series' collapse.

Following the collapse, Kay Lon, through his company Best In The World bought out all the assets and plans to revive it in 2013.
