Scuderia Tripoli is a team currently racing in the African Racing League.

History

The team was founded by Libyan gentleman driver Akram Adbulrashid, who had competed in GT in the late 90s to little luck, as a way to get young African talents to the top of motorsport. The team competed sucessfully in the African rally and GT scene, and have drove for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the GT-Am class in 2015, with a retirement. The team also had their first taste of open-wheel racing at the 2014 Macau F3 race, with Jayde Krueger at the wheel of the car. The team had little luck however, and retired with a engine failure. Despite this, the team established a Formula 3 South African operation, winning the title in 2016.

African Racing League (2018-19)

The team decided to establish a African Racing League operation, in the objective to promote the brightest African drivers in the continent.
