Paolo Marzotto

Count Paolo Marzotto (born 9 September 1930 in Valdagno) is an Italian former racing driver. Raised in a wealthy industrial family, Marzotto was a promising sportscar driver in his native Italy in the early 1950s, notably winning the Dolomites Gold Cup, Giro della Calabria, Coppa Acerbo, Circuito di Senigallia and 12 Hours of Pescara between 1952 and 1953. In 1953, he became a works Ferrari driver, but retired from driving after a series of disappointing results in 1955.

He competed in the 1954 Italian Grand Prix for Scuderia Ambrosiana, recommended as a driver by his friend and occasional teammate Giovanni Bracco. He failed to qualify for the race, but as his older brother Giannino was also competing, the two became the first pair of brothers to compete in the same Formula One event.
