Massimiliano Torbani is a racing driver from Cagliari, Italy, who currently competes in the F1 Rejects Indy Championship Series for Mastercard Lola.
History
His career began to take off after signing with MA-Junior Racing for an F3RWRS campaign in 2014, but disappointing results saw him released mid-season. He was able to pick up the third drive at Pemberton Prospec Racing a round later, but more lacklustre results saw him released again at the end of the season, failing to score points for the championship winning team.
After this disappointment, he made a switch across the pond to Indy Lights, and while he failed to win a race, was consistently in the points and took 5th in the championship. This earned him a promotion to the top F1RICS series, driving for Italian team Mastercard Lola.
