Mason Simonsen (born 16 April 1997 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a New Zealander racing driver who drives part-time for Nesia Racing Enterprises in Formula 5000.
Racing career
Simonsen began his career in karting. He made his single-seater formula debut in 2015, racing in the New Zealand Formula First Championship. Next year he progressed to the New Zealand Formula Ford Championship, finishing third in the championship in 2017. In 2018 he entered the Toyota Racing Series and was a constant front-runner in the championship. With two wins to his name, Simonsen eventually finished fifth in the championship and made a step up to Formula 5000 in 2019.
