Jacob Tucker
Jacob Tucker (born 7th of October of 1989 in North Carolina) is a American racing driver, currently driving for Joest Racing in the 2019 FIA Endurance Challenge season.
Early Career
Tucker's career started out his career in the NASCAR Camping Trucks series in 2010, winning with no competition. He stepped up to Nationwide in 2011, winning the championship. However, he suffered a serious crash while testing a Sprint Cup car in January 2012, leaving him out until June. He said he would never race in NASCAR again after the accident. He searched until he got in contact with Laurent Gauthier, who was in the United States for a ALMS race. Seeing his potential, Gauthier signed him as one of their young drivers, and got him in a seat at Blancpain in 2013. He finished 5th in his first year, and later won the championship in 2014. He would later slump back to 3rd in 2015.
