Jacobus "Jackie" Pretorius (born 22nd November, 1934 in Potchefstroom, South Africa, died 30th March, 2009 in Johannesburg, South Africa) was a South African racing driver best known for his appearances in Formula One.
Formula One
In 1976, Pretorius entered the South African Grand Prix for Team Gunston but failed to pre-qualify.
Later Life
In March 2009, Pretorius was attacked in his home by burglars and slipped into a coma. He died shortly after.
