Darren Cardel

Darren Cardel (born January 18, 1985 in Salford, England) is a British racing driver.

Cardel came into prominence in the mid-2010s as teammate to Stefan Kuntz in the 2016 GT-R World Championship. The pair raced a Lamborghini Murcielago for Racing Team Solvalou and finished the season in fourth place overall.

Cardel moved into Touring Car racing in 2017, signing with Triumph Racing on a two year deal. After the series collapsed in 2018, Cardel moved to DTM as a works driver with Mercedes-Benz. Cardel was announced as Ferdinand United's lead driver in the 2020 Rolex GT Super Series season, as a part of the team's expansion outside of Europe.
