Cesare Perdisa

Cesare Perdisa (born 21 October 1932 in Bologna, died 10 May 1998 in Bologna) was an Italian racing driver. A works Maserati and Ferrari driver in the mid 1950s, the young Perdisa often took a back seat to his more experienced teammates. In Formula 1, he drove for Officine Renzo, then for Reatherson Racing Developments. He retired from motorsport after his close friend Eugenio Castellotti was killed in an accident at the 1957 Mille Miglia.
