Sergio "Checo" Pérez Mendoza (born 26 January 1990 in Guadalajara) is a Mexican racing driver who last competed in the IndyCar Series in 2019. Before his IndyCar stint, he completed 6 seasons in Formula One from 2011 to 2014 and later in 2017 and 2018. During his Formula One career, Pérez has scored a total of 2 podiums.
