Robert Kagan (born 26th March 1955 in Chelmsford, Essex) is a British former racing driver known for his appearances in Formula One.

Formula One

1977: British F1 Team and Tyrrell

Kagan's first entry in the 1977 season was at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, for the British F1 Team. Despite failing to pre-qualify, Kagan's outstanding drive later in the weekend won him the Tony Brise Memorial Trophy after starting in 2nd place, behind polesitter John Watson in the Shadow.

This result helped Kagan to sign a contract with Tyrrell team after the British Grand Prix, after Tyrrell fired Mexican driver Héctor Rebaque.
