Olaf Manthey (born 21st April 1955 in Bonn, West Germany) is a German former racecar driver and owner of Manthey Racing.

World Touring Car Masters

Manthey and his eponymous team were one of the first teams to commit to the new World Touring Car Masters championship in 1988, running a pair of Mercedes-Benz 190E for himself and Markus Östreich in Class C. Manthey was a frequent qualifier in this first season, even finishing on the class podium on three occasions.

The following year, Östreich left the team and was replaced by Alain Cudini. Unfortunately, Manthey was outgunned in the more competitive C Class, only qualifying for two rounds all season.

A new decade and a new teammate once again beckoned for Manthey, being joined by exciting Austrian prospect Karl Wendlinger on a reduced schedule - with the team only opting to enter the European events this year.
