Nils-Kristian "Kris" Nissen (born 20th July, 1960 in Arnum, Denmark) is a Danish former racing driver.

Racing Career

After a decent career in lower level single seaters where he won the Danish Formula Ford series in 1982 and the German F3 series in 1986, Nissen switched into closed-cockpit racing - initially in the All Japan Sports Prototype Championship and the DTM.

In 1990, Nissen combined his DTM campaign with a part season in the World Touring Car Masters series with the Wolf Racing Team in a Ford Sierra RS500.

Later Career

Following his retirement from active competition in the mid-2000s, Nissen became the Motorsport director for Volkswagen - overseeing their WRC and Formula 3 programmes.

He left the motorsport industry in early 2013 to manage a campsite in his native Denmark.
