Joe Bloggs was an Australian racing driver. He was born in Mount Isa, Australia in the state of Queensland, on January 13, 1969. As a twenty two year old living in Ipswich in the same state and country, Joe Bloggs became involved with David Smith, a shady businessman who was starting a team in the Life GP series. Smith went looking for drivers. He asked the police who were the most notorious speeders, and one of the guys he got was Joe Bloggs, and Joe was signed to the team. However, in preseason testing, Bloggs was very slow, and clearly wasn't suited to the cars. Despite this, he maintained that his car wasn't very good and that he was a better driver then his results showed. At race 1 of the season at Jerez he qualified 18th, which was quite a surprise for some people. In the race itself though he ran into the back of another car, overshot the pitlane going over the top of another car, and retired with brake dramas. At Jarama in the second race he dropped out with gearbox troubles, and had a drunken & angry conversation with his team manager about the supposed crapness of his car. Their relations began to be strained.
