HURT Racing (standing for Highly Untalented Rejects Team) came out of Inala, which is one of Brisbane, Australia's worst suburbs. They entered the 1991 Life GP series, with driver Joe Bloggs, mechanic/test driver Bazza the Bogan and team owner David Smith, and a plain blue car, and basically no money for their cars. Bloggs drove a few races before quitting. At that point, Bazza the Bogan took over, until he was injured at Rouen, and then pay driver Will Roberts started driving. At that point, to the surprise of a lot of people, the team started becoming competitive, after a few races, which culminated in a second place finish at the US East GP. For 1992, the team will be bought by somebody else, and could face a name change.
