David Lee Pinkney (born 5th July, 1952 in Bridlington, Yorkshire, England) is a British racing driver and businessman, most notable for his appearances in the British Touring Car Championship and World Touring Car Masters.

Career

After making his racing debut in 1987, Pinkney was a frequent competitor in the British Group N championship, battling with the likes of Matthew Neal and Kieth O'dor on a regular basis.

In 1990, Pinkney made his first foray onto the world stage - entering the WTCM in both of the UK-based rounds in a self-run Ford Sierra Sapphire.
