Autodynamics Grand Prix are a British-based racing team that will compete in the 2015 season of the F1RWRS. While based in Motorsport Valley, the team's main ownership are predominantly Australian however, and as such the team races under a joint British-Australian licence. The team is heavily backed by energy drinks company Red Bull, causing some confusion about the team's relationship with fellow Australian-based Red Bull World Race Team. The two are mostly unrelated however, even though they do share some staff and technical information. For 2015, Dean O'Lauchlan was signed to spearhead Autodynamics' maiden season in the F1RWRS, to orginally be partnered by fellow Australian Dale Hamilton. Senior management, however, backed out of signing the F1RWRS-rookie, who, while the older brother of Jason Hamilton, didn't have a superlicense. The team chased after ex-Shock of the Lightning Motorsport man Damon Cannon as a replacement for Hamilton, but he was initially denied a rejct superlicence after failing to meet any of the criteria following DNQing for every race in 2013. Fears about a lack of a replacement were soon quelled when Cannon managed to exert every ounce of strength to finish 3rd in the non championship 2014 F1RWRS Luxembourg Grand Prix while driving for Mecha Grand Prix, in a car that made a Trabant look like the pinnacle of motoring.
