The 2016-17 Melrose Racing Team Academy Caribbean League season is the first season of the Caribbean Racing League, formed after a partnership between Melrose Racing Team owner Daniel Melrose and former F1RGP2C team owner Prince Walik.

All teams use a 2016 Zytek chassis formerly used by the F1RDS, as well as the BMW F31/6 engine
