The 2003 Italian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on 3rd August, 2003 at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Monza, Italy. The 53-lap race was won by Michael Schumacher driving for Ferrari after starting from pole position. André Lotterer finished second for Jaguar, with Giancarlo Fisichella third in the other Ferrari.
The weekend is notable for the absence of all Michelin-shod teams, including Williams and McLaren, from the Grand Prix after a disagreement over the legality of their tyres. The French tyre manufacturer announced a boycott in the wake of the Hungarian Grand Prix after a change in the sporting regulations effectively ruled their tyres illegal.
