Kojima Engineering were a Japanese Formula One constructor who built and entered cars in the late 1970s.
Matsuhisa Kojima was a successful motocross rider in Japan and in the late 1960s, with the profits from a banana-importation business, he funded the establishment of a small engineering firm to build single-seater racing cars.
They famously scored a point on their Formula One debut with Masahiro Hasemi at the 1976 Japanese Grand Prix, a moment credited with increasing the popularity of Grand Prix racing in the region.
