Very little is known about Vlcek, although he did finish tenth in the 1949 Czechoslovakian Grand Prix.
 
Vlcek only entered two races in his Formula One career; the [[1955_Alternate_Formula_One_season|1955]] and [[1956_Alternate_Formula_One_season|1956]] [[Soviet Grand Prix|Soviet Grands Prix]] - both for [[Julius Kubinsky]]'s JK Mono team.
