The FIA World Endurance Championship was a international motor racing series that lasted for four seasons. Before the start of the 2015 season, a former Peugeot employee confirmed multiple cases of rule-bending in favour of manufacturer efforts, leading to a breakdown of the series and the founding of SARS, which was merged into the ACO Le Mans Cup for 2017.
