Shock of the Lightning Motorsport, often shortened to SOTL was a British F1RWRS team that competed in the 2013 F1RWRS season. It was founded by Richie White who left Group Lotus after a dismal 2012 and decided to form his own team. He hired Damon Cannon as his second driver. Unfortunately, SOTL failed to start in any F1RWRS races and was bought by Dofasco Racing after 2013. Cannon and White was left without a drive for 2014.
Since the SOTL debacle, in 2015, Cannon attempted to return to F1RWRS with Autodynamics Grand Prix but his request for licence was initially refused until he was ultimately granted the licence following his third place finish in the Nurburgring non-championship race with Mecha Grand Prix. White, meanwhile, has yet to return to the series.
