Hélio Alves de Castro Neves (born 10th May, 1975 in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian racing driver.

Formula One

Castroneves found some time in his IndyCar schedule to make his Formula One debut with the Squadra Toro Rosso team in 2009. Castroneves took part in the Brazilian and Uruguayan Grands Prix.

Castroneves returned on a part time basis in 2010 with the Petronas Mercedes Team Europe outfit when the regular drivers were unavailable. Once again he took part in the Brazilian and Uruguayan races - even taking pole for the first of the races in Uruguay. Castroneves' best results were a pair of seventh places.

IndyCar

Castroneves raced in IndyCar from 2001 up until the US Open Wheeler split in 2017.
