Manuarii Vahirua is a Tahitian racing driver.
Racing career
Vahirua made his car racing debut in the 2017 AutoReject GTi championship after being scouted as part of the Voeckler Talent Troupe programme. Driving for the DScity Voeckler Junior outfit, Vahirua took a best finish of second place on his way to fifth in the driver's standings.
The following year, Vahirua remained with Voeckler - with the GTi championship switching from the Volkswagen Lupo to the more powerful SEAT Léon Supercopa. Vahirua dominated the championship, only failing to finish in the top two positions on two occasions - earning him the driver's championship.
This performance earned him a spot with the works SEAT Sport team in the newly-formed Touring Car World Series.
