Edward Lorent (born ???, died ???) was a Soviet racing driver and engineer.
Lorent for most of his life was known for his exploits as a speed record driver - his first national record coming in 1932 and his last coming in 1972. As well as this, Lorent was selected by the Volga Testa Russo team to take part in the Belgian, Irish and German Grands Prix in 1957. Lorent failed to qualify on any occasion.
