The 1977 Trofeo Dino Ferrari was a non-championship Formula One race and the inaugural running of the Trofeo Dino Ferrari, held at the Autodromo Dino Ferrari on the 19th June, 1977.
The Ferraris would line up 1-2-3-4 on the grid and, as expected, all four Ferraris held station at the front of the field. Jody Scheckter held on in an exhilarating move around the outside at Tamburello to take the lead from pole-sitter Patrick Depailler, and Gilles Villeneuve and Elio de Angelis swapped places, but with 10 laps to go the final order looked to be set.
