Kevin Jan Magnussen (born 5th October, 1992 in Roskilde, Denmark) is a Danish racing driver currently driving in Formula One. He is the son of former Grand Prix winner Jan Magnussen.

2014-2015: Marussia

After winning the Formula Renault 3.5 series in 2013, Magnussen was selected to be part of the first ever FIA Young Driver's Draft. Initially a major target for McLaren, Magnussen was selected seventh overall by Russian team Marussia.

This materialised into a full time drive for 2015, where he'd drive alongside Brazilian racer Felipe Nasr. Magnussen's career in Formula One would get off to an excellent start, taking an unexpected second place finish in the first race of the second round in Malaysia - the best result for a Dane in F1 since his father's win in the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix. Magnussen would only score points on three more occasions in 2015, his best result of these being a fourth place finish in Germany.
