Revision as of 18:40, 10 November 2012

The 2014 Rejects of LFS season was the third year of the Rejects of LFS series. The series saw a format change, with two races at each venue compromising a twelve race calendar. While all teams used the same basic car, individual engine and chassis development was allowed, although the amount of development per race was strictly limited. The drivers' championship was won by Cave Johnson of Ultimate Racing, who also won the teams' championship with a considerable lead over Coke and Magnum Racing.

Notes:

  • 1 - Van de Schoot was excluded from the Fern Bay and Kyoto Ring GPs for his dangerous driving at the South City Sprint race, and was replaced for these rounds by Gregor Pascal.
  • 2 - Like Van de Schoot, Megumi was excluded from the Fern Bay round for same offence, and was too replaced by team's test driver Tetsuya Takagi.
  • 3 - Kuntz was also excluded from Fern Bay round for the same offence (as with Van de Schoot and Megumi), and was replaced by Parma Corse's test driver Nobushige Fukuda. The switch was made permanent after Kuntz's suspension ended, with Kuntz becoming the new Parma Corse reserve driver.
  • 4 - Following dismal performances in the first four GPs, Josh Carlisle was replaced for the rest of the season by Danny van Rijkens.
  • 5 - Simon Garfünkel was disqualified from the Westhill GP after dangerous driving in the feature race, and this also meant that his suspended one-GP exclusion penalty from the South City sprint race came in to full force. He was replaced by Roberto Dinella for the Aston GP.
