Roberto Pupo Moreno (born 11th February, 1959 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a Brazilian racing driver best known for his appearances in Formula One.

Formula One

1988: Coloni

Moreno returned to the grid in 1988 with Coloni initially alongside Arsenio Matarazzo and later with Gabriele Tarquini. The Coloni was by far the worst car on the grid and Moreno was only able to drag the car onto the grid on race day on eight occasions.

1989: Benetton

Moreno missed out on a drive for the 1989 season but was called upon by Benetton Formula when regular driver Kazuki Fushida was let go after two failed qualification attempts. Unfortunately it was yet another pointless season, his best result being a seventh place finish in the United States Grand Prix.

1990: Osella

Benetton merged with Arrows in the 1990 off-season and there was no place for Moreno in the new team which meant he was once again out of a drive. An opportunity presented itself midway through the year when he replaced Bertrand Gachot at Osella following the Canadian Grand Prix, as Gachot failed to qualify for a Grand Prix in 6 entries.
